Have You Been Wearing Green?

Written by <a href="https://cerebralpalsyguidance.com/about-us/jennifer-larocco/">Jennifer LaRocco</a>
March 30, 2021 by Jennifer LaRocco

Saint Patrick’s Day is not the only time in March to wear green. A lot of individuals outside of the cerebral palsy community are unaware that the month of March is dedicated to Cerebral Palsy Awareness.

If you happened to miss Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month, do not worry! Wednesday, October 06, 2021 is World CP Day. This day is dedicated to celebrating cerebral palsy worldwide. Individuals, CP communities, and organizations will come together and tell inspirational stories, share their CP Journey, and wear green in support of the CP Community worldwide.

Here are some ways that you can join in on the CP celebration:

  • Wear green.
  • Post a selfie on social media in support of World CP Day on October 6th · Share www.cerebralpalsyguidance.com on social media, or with those who you may think are in need of cerebral palsy information.
  • Join a cerebral palsy support group online.

Just as Autism Awareness Month in April, and Breast Cancer Awareness month in October are are very important and well-known causes around the world, so should Cerebral Palsy Awareness be in the month of March and on October 6th, when we celebrate World CP day. Let’s make it happen!
