“This tragedy was caused when attending nurses did not notify a doctor in time to do a crash C-section, which could have prevented the injury,” one of the girl’s lawyers said.

Despite the hospital denying negligence, the presiding judge sided with the victim in the case. Damages awarded include future medical and home care expenses, as well as damages for pain and suffering, past medical bills, and lost capacity of future earnings.
